Terms and Conditions – body mind face
These are the terms of business on which Suzanne Hawkins trading as body mind face (“I”, “us” or “our”) provides massage and beauty therapy services to you. Please make sure that you have read and fully understand these terms and conditions before you book a treatment.
Appointment booking and cancellation
You will be provided with a confirmation of the time and date of your treatment appointment.
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment provided you do this not less than 24 hours before the time of your appointment.
I reserve the right to charge a minimum fee equivalent to the cost of the treatment for failing to attend your appointment, and not notifying me of your intention not to attend.
A late attendance for an appointment may result in a shorter appointment time being offered, or the appointment being rescheduled for another time and date.
Payments and pre-paid courses of treatment
You must pay for treatments in full on the day of that treatment, or direct to my business banking account in advance when you make an appointment booking, Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer. Cheques are accepted if no other form of payment is available. If you have purchased a course of treatments by paying in advance, then you must still give 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment and I reserve the right to deduct a treatment from the pre-paid package that you purchased if you do not give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel the individual appointment. All treatment packages must be used within 12 months from the original purchase date, however some exceptions to this may be considered in specific circumstances.
Suitability of massage or facial treatment with body mind face
There are some potential contraindications to having a massage or facial treatment, this will be discussed on your first appointment, or if this occurs later in a course of treatment, then it will be re-evaluated and you will be informed if it is no longer appropriate to continue with your treatment.
It is normal for you to feel some muscle soreness, aching and bruising as a result of deep manipulative therapy to the soft tissues (skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments) and this will pass as part of the recovery process.
Medical Conditions
On booking a treatment with body mind face, you must discuss any medical conditions, pregnancy or if you are breast feeding at the time of your booking. If you have any uncertainty you must seek medical advice from your doctor. A comprehensive consultation will be carried out by me before your treatment. Please be aware that some conditions will mean that you cannot have certain treatments and you may not be able to have a treatment that day or I will suggest an alternative treatment.
Liability
I will not be liable for any financial loss or loss of personal possessions, as a result of, or in connection with the provision of services to you. I will not be liable for any damage that may be caused as a result of your failure to disclose medical details that may, for example, make treatment inappropriate.
I will not be liable for any muscle soreness, bruising and discolouration of the skin, following a sports massage treatment, as this is quite normal (see previous section-suitability).
Cancellation Policy
If possible I require 24 hours’ notice, by phone, text, or email, if you need to cancel your appointment. If not you may be charged 50% of your treatment cost. If a client cancels within 24 hours of their booking, without prior notice, I retain the right to charge a deposit or full payment upon their next booking.
Gift Voucher and Treatment Courses
Gift Vouchers and treatment courses are valid for 6 months, unless otherwise stated, and will not be accepted after the expiry date. They are non-refundable. Please have your Gift Voucher with you for the appointment. The 24hr cancellation policy still applies to treatment course bookings and gift vouchers, but 100% of the treatment price will be redeemed from your voucher or course.
Prices
Treatment prices are non-negotiable and discounts and offers are at the discretion of the business owner. Body mind face retains the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Parking
Body mind face accepts no responsibility for a client’s property whilst parking at 19a Pulens Lane, Petersfield, GU31 4BZ
Male Clients
Please note that body mind face will only accept Male Clients from a current client recommendation or for couple’s treatments.
Data Security
Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. I would, on occasion like to send you details of special promotions or treatments. If you would rather not receive these please let me know.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is very important to me. All personal and other information I collect from you through the Platform shall be collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed www.bodymindface.com/privacy-policy
Hyperlinks and third-party sites
The Platform may contain hyperlinks or references to third party websites other than the Site. Any such hyperlinks or references are provided for your convenience only. I have no control over third party websites and accept no legal responsibility for any content, material or information contained in them. The display of any hyperlink and reference to any third-party website does not mean that I endorse that third-party’s website, products or services. Your use of a third-party site may be governed by the terms and conditions of that third-party site.
